At Douce Enfance International School, every month is an opportunity for growth, joy, and meaningful learning. As we reflect on November, we are happy to share the special moments, learning achievements, and exciting events that made this month memorable for our learners and our school community.
Celebrating Our Little Stars 🎉
This month, we joyfully celebrated the birthday of our November star, Sebahungu Milan Diamand. The day was filled with cake, songs, dancing, and smiles, reminding us how important it is to celebrate each child and make them feel valued and loved.
Our Learning Focus: Building Strong Foundations
Throughout November, our learners engaged in hands-on activities that supported their early development. With guided practice and creative exploration, children strengthened key skills such as:
- Number recognition and early counting
- Fine motor skills through tracing shapes, letters, and patterns
- Creativity through art, drawing, and imaginative activities
- Concentration and independence during individual work
These activities help lay a strong foundation for future learning while keeping children motivated and confident.
Learning Together, Growing Stronger
November was a joyful, creative, and productive month. Our learners continued to grow academically, socially, and emotionally through teamwork, exploration, and daily moments of discovery. We are proud of the progress each child has made, and we sincerely thank our parents for their continued partnership and trust.
Event Highlight: Tiny Champions Day 🏅
Our learners had an exciting time during Tiny Champions Day, a fun-filled sports event that included running, jumping, balancing, and team games. This special day encouraged confidence, coordination, teamwork, and a love for physical activity. The excitement, encouragement, and happy smiles truly reflected the spirit of our little champions.
Looking Ahead: Christmas Week at Douce Enfance 🎄
December promises to be filled with joy, creativity, and meaningful experiences as we celebrate Christmas Week together. Here’s what we have planned:
- Monday – Santa’s Workshop: Festive crafts and imaginative play with Christmas-themed artwork and decorations.
- Tuesday – Pajama Day: Movie & Story Time: Learners come to school in cozy pajamas for a relaxed holiday movie and storytelling session.
- Wednesday – Trip to Bambino City (with Camping Activities): An exciting educational outing that promotes exploration, play, and bonding.
- Thursday – Charity & Christmas Celebration Day: Learners participate in donation activities (toys, clothes, food, or hygiene items) to support families in need, followed by festive photos, music, games, and celebrations.
- Friday – Consultation & Report Day: Parents are invited to meet with teachers to discuss learners’ progress.
